In this subject we unite what we have learned on the rest of the subjects so that students are able to understand, internalize and use their new skills in more interactive and creative projects. Read more...

The courses

This is the most complete and fun course, we start teaching in autumn and we go up to the end of June, during this period your students will learn all 5 subjects, develop several projects and have a full understanding of technology in every sense: engineering, programming, design, media literacy and much more.

The school can also book a short course for their students. These courses will take 4 weeks only and they will create a full project in the game development, web development or robotics learning areas. They are really fun and the outcome for the kids will be huge.

For both types of courses: All administration is taken care by galactIQ. Parents choose their group, sign up and pay via our website www.galactiq.app. Also important to notice that there is a minimum group size of 8 students.

Next steps

Why not starting with a free demo? We can give a full lesson for free for a whole class. In this way your students, teaching staff and even parents can see if our lessons are as interesting and fun as we promise. Send us an email to info@galactiq.app and we’ll arrange all the details.

Our team will enable a signing up form for parents to choose subscription plan, day and group. Your school can start sending the information about the courses to parents and we’ll get everything ready for the starting date.

Basic info

Each weekly lesson has a duration of 1hr and during that time, our students will learn new concepts and they also apply them empirically. We promote teamwork as much as individual work and  we challenge kids with problems they will have to find solutions to.

Our methodology alternates the five subjects of our curriculum, one per month. So kids could start learning game development in the first 4 weeks, then we move on to robotics for another 4 weeks and so forth. Each project has a goal that the class will have to complete, it can be -for instance- to create a website or construct a robotic factory.

Each lesson is super-well structured thanks to our interactive online learning tool galactiq.app. It’s an easy to use plug-and-play system where our teachers can prepare the lesson and teach the knowledge to kids.

  • "A practical approach with a lot of creativity ..."

My kids attended the galactIQ Academy for more than two years. During this period, Diego and Gabriel learned many cool things such as programming with Scratch, creating websites with Javascript and HTML, programming Lego based robots, among others.

The staff are kind, professional and always willing to help. The approach is hands on with a lot of creativity involved. It was a very pleasant and rewarding experience for my kids. I strongly recommended it for all kids (and adults) who want to develop programming and robotics skills while applying their creativity and enjoying an entertaining learning environment.

  • Impressive!

"The video game development episodes are broken down into manageable steps, which allowed all the children in my class to develop a functioning, playable game. What really impressed me though, were the opportunities to experiment with the code; allowing my class to create a truly unique game. I can’t believe how quick we went from zero to hero!"

  • "...the lesson was so well scaffolded..."

We used the first episode in the robotics series and our students thoroughly enjoyed the lesson.  The instructions were comprehensive for both the students and the teachers and the children could follow them to build their individual rover and were thrilled to see that the commands they set made the rover move.  As teachers, we valued the fact that the lesson was so well scaffolded and it included opportunities for discussion as well as for practising digital skills.  We can see the potential of this educational solution and how it could complement a primary school’s curriculum.

  • It's easy and fun

"Galactiq is the perfect way to learn and teach coding and robotics to younger kids, even when having minimal to no coding experience yourself. Before each class, I go over today's lesson to gain an understanding of today's targets and goals. With hands-on information solely available for teachers, you can use Galactiq as a manual to learn everything needed to teach the class."

    Caro Cools
  • Simple and effective

"The step by step construction and coding instructions on galatIQ were simple and effective, ensuring student success regardless of their ability.  Along with the instructions, the online tutorials kept students engaged and encouraged them to grow in confidence over the course of the week.  The students particularly were inspired to be ambitious with their designs; creating unique and innovative robots. Overall, it is a brilliant experience!"
